Hello Beautiful Humans,
This year on Thanksgiving as I stood out on the balcony looking at the city lights, I thought about how much things had changed. For one, I went to work instead of scarfing down stuffing and pumpkin pie and more significantly – I was miles away from my family. I thought about this journey I have been on for the past year and how uncertain it started and how foggy it remains. One thing is clear in the whirlwind that’s been the last 13 months, and that is how extremely thankful I am for everyone I have met or gotten closer to along the way.
When I decided to move away for school I was thinking strictly about my goals, my career and what I hoped to accomplish. I didn’t stop to think about all the beautiful souls I would connect with along the way. When I reflect, I can’t help but smile thinking about each person who has…
laughed with me
studied with me
vented with me
prayed with me
whined with me
eaten with me
walked with me
and cried with me.
You have challenged me and you have enriched my life – Thank you!
We each have a story unique to the other and I am so happy that I’ve been able to not only hear your stories but share in them as well. Somewhere between card games, movie nights, late night prayer meetings, roadtrips, lunch dates and even gym dates I made friends to last a lifetime.
So thank you – thank you for letting me in and thank you for being a part of my crazy life!
